LOL in Nature, LLC is driven by professional women with over 40 years of combined experience in speech-language pathology and behavioral health services with a passion for nature and all of its creatures. Our story began after our direct experience of the positive impact of nature-based services within a special needs preschool program. Parents watched their children flourish in nature activities. The impact with adults in the program was just as powerful.
We decided to combine our experience in different disciplines and provide experiences in a nature-based environment to bring community oriented nature-based services to underserved areas. Our inclusive service model ensures sustainable nature-based services to all citizens with respect, dignity, and a sense of belonging to their local community.
Our business vision is to increase access to nature-based sites and services through our "Layers of Life" program model in local communities for citizens of all ages and abilities to enhance their quality of life and allow them to age in place.
“Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much” – Helen Keller.
We target underserved locations and programs that service individuals with special needs, life challenges, and the aging population by working with administrators and government officials that currently serve, or wish to serve, these individuals. These include citizens across all age spans with unique life challenges including but not limited to areas such as developmental challenges, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), dementia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), veterans, addiction, and behavioral health, as well as families with challenges in areas such as loss or adoption.
We are happy to be members of these esteemed professional associations. We take every advantage of networking and marketing opportunities to stay in the know and help spread the word about Layers of Life.
